Our youth sports programs are for kids ages 3-17. Sessions typically usually run 8 weeks and occur year around. Youth sports are fun, organized, affordable, and a great way to keep kids active! Our programs are social and recreational with many opportunities for parents to get involved.

Basketball

Ages 3-12 years

At the YMCA, your child will discover the game, but more importantly, he or she will be taught to play with the values of respect, responsibility, honesty. We build not only a player, but a player with character.

Ages 13-17

Our program uses five steps to teach your child the game of basketball:

  • Teach the skill
  • Demonstrate what players need to play the game successfully
  • Practice those skills
  • Apply skills to the game of basketball
  • Have fun!

Dodgeball

Ages 8-15

Your kids burn energy and build teamwork in a safe and fun environment!

Flag Football

Ages 4-8 years

Weekly practice and game combo. Kids learn important skills, teamwork and how to have fun!

Handball

Ages 6-12 years

Handball is a European game where two teams compete to throw the ball into a goal. A combination of basketball and soccer, this game provides a fun, fast-paced teamwork environment. Participants will learn how to play the game and then play a game each week. 

Soccer

Ages 3-8

Soccer Golf/Footgolf

Ages 4-12

A combination of soccer and golf, participants use their feet as the putter!

T-Ball

Ages 3-6

While experiencing the thrill of playing on a team, children learn the basic fundamentals of baseball while building self-confidence. Kids will practice for 40 minutes on a weeknight every week and play a game on weekends. Game schedules will be given out the first week of practice.

Wrestling

Ages 4-8

Children will learn basic wrestling skills and techniques while learning the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.
