Here at the Y, we believe in promoting fitness at every stage of life. We provide various group classes for active older adults looking to lead healthy lives while also having fun. Each class focuses on different areas of fitness that allow you to personalize your workout plan and tailor the exercises to meet your needs.

Group Classes

Silver Sneakers Muscular Strength and Range of Motion

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-help weights, elastic tubing with handles and balls are offered for resistance and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Fit 4 Life

Our Fit 4 Life class will keep your energy level up while giving you a great chance to meet and socialize with others.

Aquatics

Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program

This is a water exercise class designed to accommodate individuals with arthritis. Our instructor leads you through a series of activities specifically meant to help improve joint movement.

Fountain of Youth

This class is for 55+ members and focuses on cardio activity and movement in the shallow end of the pool. Activities include cardiovascular fitness and toning.
