Class 2

BodyVive lets you get in shape at your own pace with a low-impact, group fitness workout that leaves you fizzing with energy. Using the VIVE balls, VIVE tubes, and optional hand weights, you choose the intensity that energizes your future.

A Typical Class

Classes start with a simple warm-up and continue with alternating “heart fitness” and “functional strength” blocks, before a final block of core and restorative exercises.

The opening heart fitness block works on mobility, flexibility, cardio and agility using the VIVE™ ball. We keep the fun levels up by incorporating some easy dance moves. You’ll team up for a walk track and then ease into some relaxing Tai Chi and yoga. Class next focuses on functional strength where we work on different muscle sets aided by the VIVE™ tube. And you’ll work on posture and leg strength with balancing exercises.

Next we work on our abs with Pilates-based moves and the VIVE ball and then get down on the floor for back strengthening exercises. Finally it’s time to unwind with some long, slow stretches to end the class.
